2 positions available
Making Time for Black Mental Health Kensington is hosting an event on Thursday 1 October 2026, bringing together more than 50 delegates to help tackle health inequalities and improve access to mental health support. The event will feature a panel of therapists and aims to empower underrepresented Black communities to access free counselling and support that can enhance wellbeing and quality of life. As an Event Photographer, you’ll be part of the event team, capturing photographs throughout the day and helping to tell the story of the event. You’ll capture a range of moments, including: * Delegate arrivals, registration, and networking. * The wellness market and other activities taking place throughout the event. * Speakers and therapists participating in the event. * The Q&A panel, which will be a key feature of the event. The event takes place at Cottons Caribbean Restaurant, 157 Notting Hill Gate, London, just a 4-minute walk from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station (Zone 1). Volunteers typically contribute around 4–5 hours on the event day, although this is flexible and based on your availability. Your photographs will help showcase local community participation, capture the atmosphere of the event, and raise awareness of free mental health support in the borough. Making Time for Black Mental Health Kensington is looking for a friendly and reliable person with an interest in photography who enjoys being part of a team. If you’re ready to use your photography skills to support a meaningful community event and help share its message, Making Time for Black Mental Health Kensington would love to hear from you.
