Come join us at The Great Exhibition Road Festival for a day (or two!) filled with extraordinary science, creative arts, entertainment and fun! We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to lend a helping hand at this fantastic event. As a volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of something truly special and make a difference in our community. The Great Exhibition Road Festival is a free annual weekend celebration of science and the arts. This summer’s festival is even more special because it marks the 175th anniversary of the Great Exhibition of 1851. In this spirit, it will be full of fascinating talks, hands-on creative workshops, interactive shows, and live performances from iconic museums, research and culture organisations, including Imperial College London, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, V&A, The Royal Albert Hall and many more. It is back this year on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June, 12pm - 6pm each day, and we need your help to make it happen! This year’s amazing themes include the Health and Happiness Zone, Tech Zone, World Science Zone, Underground Adventure Zone, and Family Fun Zone.
You have the option to choose between 6 possible shifts, covering both days from 9am-6:30pm. If you volunteer for multiple shifts, you will circulate between various spots within the festival.
The Festival will be held on Exhibition Road in South Kensington, London, SW7 2AZ and in surrounding venues, including Kensington Gardens.

Volunteers are needed on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 am - 6.30 pm to support the information tents, welcome, assist, and signpost visitors to zones and amenities to ensure they have a great experience at the festival. So, if you enjoy volunteering face to face, have great communication skills, and enjoy customer service, we would love you to join us!
