Description

The Children’s Book Project is a grassroots charity powered by volunteers at every stage of what we do. Based in West London, we’re on an exciting mission to gift over one million books to schools this year — and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make it happen. As a Warehouse Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our book stock organised and ensuring our packing team has the right mix and volume of books ready for delivery. It’s a practical, hands-on role within a friendly, supportive team who share a love of reading and community spirit. On a typical day, you might: -Re-stock and organise shelves of donated books. -Re-distribute and move pallets around the warehouse. -Load and unload pallets ready for packing. -Support with stocktaking and basic inventory management. We hope to build a small, regular warehouse team that meets one Thursday a month, but this is entirely flexible depending on your availability.
